I’ve always preferred tea over coffee.  Less calories, less caffeine (means you can drink more to stay warm without getting jittery), and it’s less expensive because you can re-use teabags up to 3 times.


For those of you trying to cut back on calories, I recommend drinking peppermint tea as it cleanses the palate and helps trick your tongue out of thinking it needs dessert.  Black or green teas, while delicious with milk and scones, tend to make you want to eat more (sweets!) to balance out its bitterness.

And for those of you who are just trying to stave off hunger, remember that the more you drink the fuller your stomach will feel.  Of course that usually results in more trips to the bathroom and higher toilet paper expenses…
